Course Details

Bachelor of Science (Hons) is a degree in which a student does a major in one particular subjects. It is compulsory for students to specialize in one subject. Bachelor of science (Hons) is generally pursued by those students who want to go for higher studies after completing their bachelor's degree. A student of B. Sc. (Hons) will study about a subject in a more detailed manner than a general B. Sc. Student. Also, it is usually advised that students who want to pursue higher studies after their bachelor’s should opt for B. Sc. (Hons) as having a detailed knowledge of a particular subject will help the student in post-graduation.

The primary aim of the degree is to impart scientific knowledge and skills to students through various methodologies. B. Sc. (Hons.) helps the students to understand scientific facts which they can use further in their professional lives to create something new or to find solutions. The duration of a B.Sc. (Hons) the course is for three years. As far as the examinations are concerned, they take place after the end of each semester.
