Course Details

Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management is a 3-year undergraduate program that provides knowledge on how the hotels are run, the management, hotel administration, and skills to attend to the customer. BSc Hotel Management is spread over 6 semesters, with the final 2 semesters being based on the candidate’s chosen stream of study. The subjects taught in BSc Hotel Management are Front Office, Personality and Communication Development, Food Production, Housekeeping, Hygiene and Sanitation, Laundry Operations, Food Science, Food and Beverage Service, Nutrition etc. 

In the course of B.Sc. Hotel Management, the candidates are taught about the workings of the hotel administration, its environment, and management with essential skills and tools which are necessary for a hotel to run successfully. The course helps the candidate to be a multi-tasker. The candidate is taught various skills like management, marketing, human resource, communication skills, dexterity, and interpersonal skills. The candidate is prepared for the global exposure of the hotel industry. Candidate is given practical knowledge of all the things he/she has learned theoretically.
