Course Details

BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts - Bachelor of Legislative Law) is a five-year integrated LLB course that candidates are eligible to pursue after completing Class 12. The Law course is an amalgamation of Humanities and Law streams, which allows candidates to study subjects such as History, Sociology, Administrative Law, Criminology, Family Law and so on.

This course is extremely popular option for students completing Senior Secondary Education. Many top colleges and universities offer this course and lakhs of candidates take admission to this course every year, proving the growing demand and popularity of five-year integrated law programme. Candidates who wish to pursue a career in litigation can appear for AIBE which is also known as All India Bar Examination. 

The course introduces learners to the basic principles of social sciences as well as in-depth learning of Law. Earlier, candidates who completed graduation pursued three-year LLB programme but after the establishment of National Law Universities, five-year LLB programme became widely popular. This course is divided into ten semesters and candidates take up core lessons on Arts as well as Law courses.
