A Master of Arts degree in Education builds upon the knowledge gained in an education-based bachelor's degree program and generally involves comprehensive study and review of topics as they relate to curriculum instruction and development, counseling and education administration. MA Education teaches candidates how to impose the knowledge they gained on their students. Obtaining Advanced degrees in teaching also accompanies the experience. Candidates who will be pursuing this degree will have the opportunity to teach in a live classroom setting under the supervision of an experienced teacher. Due to this after graduating from a particular college or university, a candidate can attain a great experience with teaching.

MA Education is a two-year course that deals with the study of the philosophy of education, educational statistics, personality development, etc. This course is meant for those who want to pursue a career in the field of education and want to excel in their careers in this profession. The M.A. in Education (MAED) programme aims to develop critical knowledge of the field and discipline, and to give students the opportunity to specialise in areas of their interest. The programme combines an integrated discipline-based approach with a proactive orientation to policy and institutional contexts of practice.
