Bachelor of Design in Animation or BDes in Animation is an undergraduate course in design for 4 years which involves components such as drawing, 3D, Visual art, sculpture, storytelling etc. BDes in Animation course aims at enhancing the image-making, critical thinking and storytelling skills among aspirants.

Animation primarily means the creation of moving images. There are different types of animation including celluloid animation, 2D animation, 3D animation, motion graphics and stop motion. Starting from cartoon characters to animated short films all are created using these techniques. Animation is a unique and interesting way to attract viewers, especially children as it is an easy way to communicate and tell stories. 

B.Des in Animation is designed to train the students in traditional and sophisticated techniques of animation and filmmaking. With the evolvement of technologies, the animation industry is seeing a surge in the requirements of skilled professionals. B.Des in Animation prepares students with apt skills and knowledge concerning animation and film making. Through the medium of advanced animation skills, students are trained to develop, defend, pitch ideas and create creatively organic content for various media like film, TV, advertising etc.
