Cath lab technicians are responsible for preparing patients for procedures, assisting the cardiologist during the procedure, and monitoring the patient's vital signs throughout. They may also be responsible for administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and operating specialized equipment.

In addition to their technical skills, Cath lab technicians must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
